Kolibelnaja is a lullabye, a Russian folksong from the 16th century. A poor fisherman rows with his little boy on a river in the middle of the night. He sings for the boy while waiting for the fish to swim into the net. He wishes a bright future for his son and hopes that he will have a better life than his father. The boy will give him endless happiness in life. As the boat rocks gently, the boy drifts off to sleep. (Russian)

Русская народная песня 16 века.

Kolibelnaja er vögguvísa og rússneskt þjóðlag frá 16. öld. Fátækur fiskimaður rær með litla drenginn sinn út á ána um miðja nótt. Hann syngur fyrir drenginn meðan þeir bíða þess að fiskarnir syndi í netið. Hann óskar syni sínum bjartrar framtíðar og vonar að hann muni lifa betra lífi en hann sjálfur. Drengurinn mun veita honum ótæmandi gleði á lífsleiðinni. Báturinn vaggar drengnum í svefn.
